Context
Event tech is clunky and fragmented
Luxury events shouldn't be run on a spreadsheet. So much of what is done on pen and paper right now can be modernized and can be digitized. This product was designed in 1.5 months and informed by 75+ planner interviews. The company was focused on accelerating speed to deployment, pushing the boundaries on existing design systems, and a luxury first impression.

Solution
A digital hub for execution, planning, and management
Your luxury wedding experience should be matched with a luxury experience planning. No more bridezilla and her mom in a 400 page binder, no more taking on a full time job to do this, just a click in the app. However, the high end event world is insular and brand obsessed. So a polished brand identity across product, tooling, and marketing was table-stakes.

Pushing the boundaries of generic iOS

I repackaged Apple’s design system to create something that fit the luxury wedding niche. These elevated, generic, gray components, mixed with scalable tonal palettes to create visual hierarchy and unlocked the product's unique functionalities.

Scalable profile frameworks to replace proposals

Streamlined vendor pitching via reusable vendor profiles showcasing key data— bios, offerings, reviews, images—across all 14 vendor categories. Removing the need for custom pitches unlocked the ability to pitch thousands of clients with a single template. The designs removed the need need for lengthy 40 page proposals,  subtlety upsold clients on add ons, and dramatically reduced planner overhead.

Leveraging G-suite familiarity for rapid adoption

Designed and launched planner tools and dashboards in just two weeks. Collaborated with Data, Engineering, and Sales to align client-facing data with planner inputs, creating automations and time-sensitive notifications. Leveraged Material Design to match planners' familiarity with G-suite.
